Note: Senior Training
Directors' Forums are targeted for training and development professionals
who have a minimum of 10 years of training and development (or equivalent) experience and are
responsible for developing training and development strategy. Director level
professionals are also responsible for decision making in their
organizations. These programs are designed to offer strategic insight
and time for round table interaction with peers.
Overview
Join nationally recognized speaker Rita Bailey for a discussion about the Future Role of Learning Leaders. The evolving needs and speed for training and development is transforming the way we assess, develop, deliver and evaluate learning strategies and activities. An adaptive mindset is a necessity for learning professionals to compete in a global marketplace where people engagement and involvement is the competitive advantage.
In this interactive session for Senior Training Professionals, we will explore current data about future trends, and emerging technologies needed to expand our portfolio of approaches and tools for developing talent. You will have an opportunity to share individual perspectives and practices about what we do now to prepare for the next 10 years. You will take away ideas and useful tools to help determine if your organization is prepared for the future.
Rita’s book, Destination Profit, will be available for sale and for Rita to sign.
NOTE: The Cascadia Chapter is also sponsoring an afternoon workshop with Rita Bailey. The session with the Senior Forum will focus on topics relevant to Senior Learning Leaders and the impact their decisions have on Organizational Culture and achieving business results. The afternoon session will address how to connect everyone in the organization toward unified goals that attract and keep business. For more information on the afternoon session, click here.
