Julie Bulrice
adidas USA
Julie is an experienced and familiar face in the learning arena in the Portland area. She has been involved in all facets of Learning and Development professionally for almost 20 years – most recently in directing the training function in large corporations. Julie has coached and mentored dozens of learning professionals over the years – and loves stand-up delivery, facilitation and coaching of leadership and communication skills. A giant step in her career happened several years ago when she took on a Global Learning role with Nike, Inc. who she was with for 10 years. “Working locally and thinking globally” expanded her vision of how training can be executed in many languages, many cultures and many contexts simultaneously. Julie also spent a year with the Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia as their Principal Learning Consultant, and most recently, she’s “across the river” as the HR Director of Development and Training for adidas America. Her peers and colleagues appreciate her for asking good, inquisitive questions and realizing the “business” of training and development. She thinks strategically, laughs often, and enjoys a full Cabernet Sauvignon.
