How to Strategically Build eLearning Solutions That Will Meet Your Company's Needs Now...and in the Future

with Julie Bulrice / Wendy Trunick, Nike and
Jan Foster / Andrew McLaughlin, Planet Productions

August 1, 2003

Overview

Building and implementing an effective elearning program is a complex endeavor. Despite the best laid plans, there always seems to be a “gotcha” that sneaks up from behind and impacts the production schedule or budget.

Learn, from a strategic level, what to consider when planning your entire elearning initiative from Planet Productions, a leading Portland elearning development company, and Nike which has launched numerous elearning courses for use around the world. Nike and Planet will share  real-world experiences where reasonable plans had been developed for elearning but changing business, organizational and political circumstances forced alterations mid-stream, often at great expense.

During the program, participants will be encouraged to share their own experiences and learnings in various key elearning development areas including:

  • The importance of knowing your audience
  • Certification / testing requirements
  • System constraints
  • Launching and tracking elearning in LMSs
  • Must haves for successful implementations
  • Organizational development considerations

By learning what to consider before starting an initiative, your company can prevent a variety of costly mistakes when circumstances change. This presentation will be directed at designing an elearning strategy and / or program from the Training Director's or Manager’s point of view.
