Please advise Elizabeth at least two days in advance if you are planning on attending the SIG. If you'd like to be on the mailing list to receive notifications about future SIG meetings, please email your request to the ASTD office.

The security requirements for using this conference room have changed, and we will need the names of people attending who are NOT FEDERAL EMPLOYEES. If you are not a federal employee and plan to attend, please respond directly to Terri Bull at tlbull@bpa.gov. In addition, as has been true in the past, picture ID will be required to get into the building. Hopefully this will not discourage folks from participating, as the program looks very interesting. We may take a few minutes during the meeting to consider other options for future meetings.

Strategic Questioning
Cynthia Nielsen

Mediators carry a powerful tool to help clients transform: strategic questioning. Strategic questions engage the client's own wisdom and power. And their transformative power grows when all parties, including the mediator, listen - listen deeply, allowing possibility and a new path to emerge. This session is structured to refresh your understanding of questioning, learn a process designed to help clients tap their own inner resources and share your own unique wisdom and experience.
