Trainers in Transition
Overview
- Have you ever experienced a professional or personal transition as a trainer?
- Do you think you might experience one or more important transitions in your career and life?
- Do you have occasion to help or support others as they go through
professional transitions?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, this program is just the ticket!
Most trainers experience transitions frequently: new assignments, restructuring, shifts in
technology, downsizing, launching into or out of consulting..........
This program features a talented and experienced panel who will examine the ins and outs of
handling transitions. Panel members are veteran transitioners who will share their ideas for how to make a successful passage. A large portion of the session will be questions and answers in a free flowing exchange of ideas with everyone who attends.
- What are the hidden stresses of transitions?
- What are some basic do’s and don’ts when facing a transition?
- How does a person move into the independent consulting field?
- How does a person make the change from consulting back into a “regular” job?
- How does transition effect the people on the fringe?
- Where does a person turn to when the stresses of transition press hard?
- How do you help someone who is in, but won’t face the challenges of, transition?
- How does a person reconcile inner panic with the pressure to put on a “brave
face”?
- What can an organization do to help people through transitions?
Bring your own questions and ideas to share. It will be a great time of learning and sharing.
Don’t miss it!
