Creativity in Training
with Pat Bremkamp

Overview

Everyone needs an occasional boost to refresh their creative juices and help their audience do the same. Our presenter will provide format and content for six creativity tools. They are:

• Brainstorming
• MindKicks
• Anthropomorphism
• Kleptomania
• Man from Mars
• Sleep On It

You will learn about these six tools and be able to practice several of them.

The tools are very flexible. Internal trainers can use these tools to design and implement training programs, integrate them into existing programs or use as the basis for a stand alone program.

External consultants may already be using some of these tools. This session will help them optimize their use, show ways to use them in combination with other tools and provide more references they can use with their clients to justify using the tools.

Sparked by a class project in high school, Pat has studied about and used creativity tools for 40 years. Now, after a career as an engineer, consultant, plant manager and corporate senior VP, Pat has formed MindKicks to help others learn and use creative tools.

Pat has successfully used the tools to make big improvements in a wide variety of setting, including construction engineering, product design, safety and attendance incentive systems, paperwork reduction, plant layout and inventory reduction, product yield improvement and software design. He has a BA and a Bachelor of Engineering from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford.
