Overview
One of the best ways to maximize your membership investment in ASTD is by learning as much as you can about your Cascadia Chapter and how to tap its rich resources. You are invited
to attend
this Member Orientation where you will meet other members as well as current chapter leaders. Also, you can use this opportunity to learn more about the
professional development available to you to increase your knowledge and skill as a trainer. The ASTD-Cascadia Chapter Member Orientation is not only for
new members but also for current members who want to further their commitment to the Cascadia Chapter and the training field.
The orientation will cover such items as:
- Chapter mission and strategic direction
- Historical overview
- Benefits and services available to members
- Programs and events
- Information for internals and consultants
- Web site information and how to use your chapter member number
- Volunteer opportunities
- Your questions and comments
The format will combine both presentation and networking portions as well
as a live demonstration of the web site.
