Geographical Interest Groups (GIGs)

 


Because the Cascadia Chapter covers the state of Oregon and SW Washington, we have devised a way to support training professionals who do not want to start their own chapter but who still want to be affiliated with ASTD.

Geographical Interest Groups (GIGs) have a general focus (as opposed to one focus like a Special Interest Group) and are open to the public.

We also have a blog section for SIGs on our BlogCascadia.

Currently, we have 3 active GIGs in our service area. They are:

Lane County GIG

Provides networking and training opportunities in the Eugene / Springfield area.

SW Washington GIG

Provides networking and training opportunities in the southwestern area of Washington State.

Salem Area GIG

Provides networking and training opportunities in the Salem area.
