Current members of the ASTD - Cascadia Chapter are eligible for membership in the Safeway NW Central Credit Union if they meet certain criteria (listed below). Membership status is checked by the Credit Union with the ASTD office.

Safeway NW Credit Union is a full-service financial institution owned by its members and governed by a volunteer board of directors. Profits are returned to members in the form of lesser and fewer fees, lower loan rates and higher savings rates. Some of the services include:

• Savings products, including Holiday and tax account and free basic savings

• Free checking accounts

• Free online banking

• Online bill pay service

• Classic, Gold and Platinum Visa cards

• Home mortgage programs that include buyer education

• Auto loans

• Nationwide shared branch network called CU service Centers® that allows you to conduct business with Safeway NW Credit Union at multiple locations

Eligibility Criteria

Individual Chapter members can take advantage of credit union membership if the Chapter member's employer belongs to the credit union as a company sponsor. Independent members can join as a company.
