Title Technical Communications Writer

Responsibilities

In this writing position, you will produce training and documentation deliverables for Axium’s software products.

As a member of the product development team, you will produce e-learning demos, instructor-led training materials, and Knowledge Base articles.

You will be responsible for contributing to online help, user guides, installation manuals, and other technical communications.

You will be responsible for documenting new products and features, as well as maintaining existing documentation.

Requirements

Work as a team player who welcomes collaboration with other writers, instructors, and subject matter experts.

Are adept at handling multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced environment.

Welcome change and the opportunity to learn new products and tools.

Have a track record of managing your work and meeting your deadlines.

Are dedicated to your profession and to producing quality work.

2 years experience as a technical writer or instructional designer in a software development environment

Degree in technical communication, instructional design, journalism, or education

Excellent technical writing ability, which you can demonstrate through samples

Experience producing e-learning demos, training materials, and online help

Experience with Captivate and RoboHelp, or similar tools
