Title Technical Training Manager
Company Vestas

Responsibilities

As our Technical Training Manager you will manage the development and delivery of technical training programs to service technicians, internal and external customers on all Vestas products in North America.

Specific tasks for this position will include but are not limited to:

• Manage staff of technical training professionals.
• Lead needs assessment activities to analyze employee training needs.
• Develop and implement training activities to develop field service technicians.
• Assign and monitor training programs, assess results and implements enhancements to training programs.
• Oversee the development of training plans and programs by both internal trainers and external training providers.
• Partner with Business Academy colleagues, HR, and Vestas internal stakeholders to meet the technical training needs of Vestas Americas.
• Schedule and prioritize program development and delivery.
• Plan and organize department with profit center objectives.
• Perform budgeting for department expenditures.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Training and Development, Organizational Learning, Education or a related field.

7+ years technical training experience or experience developing, delivering training and managing training programs, or MBA preferred with equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Supervisory experience required.

Demonstrated expertise in conducting needs assessment, curriculum development and adult learning in a technical environment.

Very strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in all Microsoft office applications.

Strong planning and organizational skills.
