Title Sales Training Manager

Responsibilities

Develops cost effective training programs which meet specific business needs for all products of a major medical equipment manufacturer; support a high performance sales workforce; support dealer sales and service networks; and to maximize the potential for customers to recommend products colleagues.

Assess training needs in relationship with the corporate objectives in order to develop and deliver innovative, effective, timely and quality training programs for sales delivery, dealer sales, dealer service, dental school service and federal government service.

Assists with the development of the sales force by developing, initiating and maintaining initial sales training programs for all sales job families across all sales divisions; provides development opportunities to enhance employee’s existing knowledge, skills and abilities; and implementing learning reinforcement strategies.

Creates and manages training standards, expectations and measurements.

Supervises trainers and support staff. Monitors and measures work activity to achieve departmental goals and activities in support of corporate objectives. Strive to maintain an engaged workforce by providing an environment that fosters creativity, teamwork and quality communication.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Advanced communication skills, particularly in interpersonal, written and platform presentation formats.

Leader and/or supervisory experience.

Experience with assessment tools and the translation of results into development plans.

Past experience in assessment, development and implementation of new and creative training solutions for a variety of programs in support of sales activities.

Five (5) years of large group (minimum of 8 – 10 people) professional formal sales training experience.
