Thank you for your interest in presenting to ASTD-Cascadia Chapter. We are always looking for a mix of local, regional and national speakers to offer insightful, educational and thought-provoking session to our members.
We invite you to complete our online Speaker RFP in order to be reviewed as a potential speaker for our Chapter. Once you have complete the online form, please email the ASTD office that you have done so.
Currently, we have needs for speakers in the following areas:
- Best Practices
- Measuring Results ROI
- Managing Training Depts in Tough Economic Times
- Facilitation Skills
- eLearning Strategies
- New and Emerging Trends in Workplace Learning
- Panel Discussions with Practitioners
If you have a topic or expertise that is not on our list that you feel would benefit our membership, you are welcome to submit an online proposal for consideration. We look for presentations ranging from new to the field to mid-level to senior practitioners.
All of our presentations should reflect the National ASTD Competency Model.
We generally do not pay a fee to our presenters. We ask that presenters donate their time at presentations and workshops in exchange for visibility to our membership. We expect that all presenters conduct themselves professionally and do not use the presentation as a sales pitch. If presenters have product(s) they wish to make available to our members, please include that information in the proposal and we will supply a table for product display.
