Articulate Storyline
with Tom Kuhlmann
Intended Audience
- Instructional designers, trainers, elearning developers who want to learn how to use Articular Storyline.
- Training managers and consultants who want to stay current with the latest elearning development tools.
You'll benefit from the program whether you've spent years developing elearning or have never created elearning before.
Overview
Be one of the first to learn how to use Articulate's newest product - Storyline.
Articulate has created one of the popular tools for creating elearning, and has been generating quite a bit of excitement when they announced a new tool - Storyline - which offers more functionality and outputs content for mobile devices.
In this hands-on workshop, you will learn about Articulate's new Storyline tool and actively practice using it to create elearning.
- See an overview of Storyline
- Add static content to the screen and synchronize to recorded audio
- Learn the essential authoring concept by building a simple interactive scene
- Create software training video
- Convert training video into interactive simulation
- Publish to Flash, HTML5 and for the iPad
- Core interactivity brainstorm and build some
- How to share and repurpose content
NOTE: Articulate Storyline is a new tool - not a replacement for Articulate Studio. If you are looking for training on Articulate Studio, this isn't the session for you.
Required Technologies and Prework
Since this is a hands-on session, a laptop is strongly recommended, so that you can use the Storyline tool and actively practice the skills during the session. If you just want to observe, you are more than welcome to not participate in the hands-on activities.
If you do not currently own a copy of Articulate Storyline, download and install the 30-day free trial prior to the session. It is fully functional. We will provide instructions later on how to do this.
If you own an iPad, bring it along so you can test your new creations on the iPad and wow your friends and family. You can view the mobile output on an iPad but you'll need a laptop to practice using Storyline.
Please be sure to bring extra batteries or power cords so you can use your technologies all day.
