November 16, 2010: Keeping Staff Engaged in Stressful Economies

Open facilitated discussion on keeping staff engaged and focused during current economic conditions. Bring an idea your organization has used or one you have read about for discussion. What are peers doing (or think we should be doing) to be leaders in our organizations in helping to keep our existing talent engaged and retained as we work our way out (slowly) from the recession? What is T&D's role (via education, etc.) that can help be good partners with HR and frontline managers to position our companies to stay on the cutting edge as best we can and to be ready to "go" when things turn around?
