CEUs and Recertification Credits
Many of our chapter programs offer a variety of CEUs and/or recertification credits. Please check below for any that may apply to you.
The CPLP is National ASTD's Certified Professional in Learning and Performance
CPLPs earn one recertification point/credit for each physical hour of continuing education within one’s current role/job or involving a new experience or content. ASTD Chapter events are listed as eligible continuing education activities.
You will need to keep records of the workshops and events you attend and prepare any paperwork required by National ASTD.

HRCI stands for HR Certification Instate and is the governing body for the National SHRM organization's certification process. SHRM stands for Society for HR Management.
Programs can be individually or collectively approved for HRCI credits. The chapter is reviewing the pros and cons of becoming a preferred provider which would allow many of our events to pre-qualify for recertification credits.
Individuals who hold the SPHR designation may elect to submit their information for recertification credits but there is no guarantee that they will be accepted.
For more information about certification or recertification, please visit the HR Certification Institute website at www.hrci.org.
CPTs (Certified Performance Technologist) who attend our events can earn points toward their recertification. A person who has already received their CPT must earn 40 credit hours every 3 years to maintain their certification.
