The conference is offering a variety of CEUs and/or recertification credits. Please check below for any that may apply to you.

The Conference has been approved for one hour of elective college credit through PSU. These are not CEUs but actual college credit. You'll need to:

• Sign up for the conference (preconference is not part of the credit)
• Pay the additional $75 credit fee on the registration form
• Complete one additional piece of paperwork with the ASTD office (they will contact you once you've signed up for credit)
• Attend the entire conference
• Prepare a paper in accordance with the lead instructor's (TBA) directions (will be sent via email to anyone taking the conference for credit

This 2010 program has been approved for various recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.

The conference has been approved for 4.5 general recertification hours. The concurrent sessions, Playing Globally with eLearning and Learning to Play in the International Area, have each been approved for 1.5 International Management recertification credit hours Two sessions have been pre-approved but NOT included in the 4.5 hours noted above (Playing Globally with eLearning and Playing with Leaderhip Development). Two (2) sessions have not been approved (Learning from Life's Deserts of Change and Go Out and Play).

The program ID number will be available at the conference.

CPLPs earn one recertification point/credit for each physical hour of continuing education within one’s current role/job or involving a new experience or content. ASTD Chapter conference sessions are listed as eligible continuing education activities.

Calculating Continuing Education Points
1 point = 1 to 2 ½ hour programs
3 points = 3 to 5 ½ hours or a half-day program
6 points - 6 to 8 ½ hours or a full-day program
9 points = 9 to 11 ½ hour or day and a half program
12 points = 12 or more hours or a two or more day long program
6 points per credit hour for credit academic programs
