Regional Conference

We are happy to be able to announce that after a sabbatical, the ASTD-Cascadia Regional Conference is returning in 2009 expanded, greener, and even more fun then before!

The 2009 Conference will be two full days, September 23-24, 2009 with a pre-conference workshop on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. With the expanded format comes a new location... the beautiful, LEED-certified Salem Conference Center in downtown Salem, Oregon.

This new facility allows us to expand to a full two days, offer the preconference workshop the day before, and be the only event taking place... meaning bigger and more break out sessions! In addition, the 2009 conference will offer...

• The ASTD-Cascadia Express between Portland and Salem each day for those wanting to car pool
• Free parking at the conference center
• Reduced room rates at the onsite hotel connected directly to the conference center
• Built in networking sessions through out the two days
• Reduced conference cost (rates announced soon!)
• Optional networking dinners with the speakers
• Optional evening activities

More information, including the Keynote speaker and general sessions will be announced later this winter.
