Title Agency Program Trainer (Behavior Specialist)

Location Various throughout the state as needed
  • Ensure initiation of appropriate behavioral intervention programs to assist residents in successful community living
  • Responsible for staffing, assisting in day-to-day needs at the home and participating as an active member of the team.
  • Assist residents in the development of appropriate home/community behaviors by analyzing problematic behavior to determine cause
  • Developing positive programs to reinforce appropriate behavior
  • Train employees on appropriate implementation of behavior plans
  • Identify the need for psychological or other consultants based on individual resident need
  • Must possess valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Must be flexible and able to prioritize
  • Must be able to respond appropriately to emergency situations
  • Use protective equipment as needed
  • Comply with dress codes
  • Frequent daily lifting of individual or program materials up to 75 pounds
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting
