An Explosion of Learning and Sharing

Northwest ASTD Leadership Conference (NWALC)
May 18 - 19, 2006

Overview

For the first time, Northwest chapters of ASTD will convene a regional chapter leadership conference modeled after the National ASTD Leadership Conference. With no other even like it in the area, the NWALC provides the only opportunity centered around ASTD chapter leadership and management led by chapter leaders from around the country. Current and future ASTD chapter leaders are invited to network with each other, share what they know about chapter management and gain insights that can help them in their roles as leaders.

Audience

The Cascadia Chapter is hosting, sponsoring and managing this year's event. In addition to regional ASTD chapter leaders, the Cascadia Chapter will also be extending invitations to the leadership of affiliated organizations as well to specific volunteers.

Conference Topics

  • The View from National ASTD
  • Chapter Operations and Resource Management
  • Succession Planning and Leadership Development
  • Diversifying Your Membership
