The VP of Series and Forums provides leadership and guidance for professional development workshops. This position sets the overall direction for professional development in our service area. This position interfaces extensively with the VP of Programs / Events and of Marketing to discuss dates and how best to publicize these activities. As with all board members, the Policies and Procedures Manual provides guidance in program concept and budget development.

Currently, the series curriculum consists of the Fundamentals of Training, Managing the Training Function and eLearning Strategies. The forum curriculum consists of the Senior Forum. The series can receive 1 hour of elective credit through Portland State University. Local subject matter experts are used wherever possible.
