    The BlogCascadia Administrators

    Christine Martell

Christine Martell is the VP Outreach of ASTD-Cascadia, which includes PodCascadia, BlogCascadia and the Diversity and Inclusion initiative. After fifteen years in training, she completed the MS in PACE at Portland State University with a focus in Training and Development. After graduate school she started VisualsSpeak, which uses photographs to facilitate significant conversations for teambuilding and strategic insight. Her blog is VisualsSpeak: Inspiring Connections Through Images.

Aaron MunterAaron Munter is a past president of the ASTD-Cascadia Chapter, and has served on ASTD-National committees as well. One of his focus areas is the effective intersection of technology and learning, from cradle to grave.

I’ve been around technology and training for more years than I care to admit in public. Some of my opinions are well thought out, and others aren’t — but I’ve got plenty of both kinds. Agree? Disagree? Let me know — better yet, comment on the blog!

    The BlogCascadia Contributors

    Kevin Jones

Kevin D. Jones has been teaching and training since 1994. His current focus is to create learning environments which suck the knowledge and experiences out of the minds of employees and customers and allow them to learn from each other. He is currently in pursuit of a Masters Degree in Instructional and Performance Technologies. Kevin is also leading the Social Learning SIG for our local chapter.

    Shari Ward Shari Ward

Shari has 20 years of progressive training and development experience, in companies both large and small. Her strengths lie in helping others discover and maximize their own talents. Her expertise ranges from instructional design to instructor certification to training delivery and management. She is looking to find an organization where she can play to her strengths everyday!

Note from Christine: Shari is also one of the ASTD-Chapter’s first CPLPs, which is the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance from ASTD national. This is quite an accomplishment!

    Kelly Orehovic

Kelly Orehovec is a trainer. She loves it. It is in her blood and she looks for any number of ways to combine training and her other favorite things. Kelly’s idea of a favorite job is travel writing but how many can actually make a living writing about their travels? So, instead of combining traveling and writing, she decided to combine writing and training and discovered how much fun and interesting blogging can be. In her spare time, she is part of the HR team at New Seasons Market and volunteer member of the ASTD Board. Oh, the places that we will go with this blog! Stay tuned!
