31 Day Comment Challenge
By Christine Martell | May 2, 2008
Sue Waters, Kim Cofino, Michele Martin and Silvia Tolisano have created a 31 Day Comment Challenge for May. I met Sue and Michele doing 31days to a Better Blog last year. They were the super achievers of our international group that supported each other through the learning process. It was a wonderful online learning project. My blogging improved quite a bit. I met great people, and I’m still in touch and learning from many of them today.
You don’t have to be a blogger to join
This challenge is about learning to be a better blog citizens through commenting on other people’s blogs. You can even participate if you don’t have your own blog. There are 87 93 people from around the world signed up already. Most of them are educational bloggers, so there is much to be learned from them. There are even some classes of young bloggers in the mix.
How does a challenge work?
Everyday Michele will post a challenge on the Bamboo Project to be completed. Sometimes it will be reading, sometimes going off and doing things. Who knows what the leadership group will come up with? One thing for sure, there will be lots of learning opportunities.
No one is checking up on you. There will be times you can participate, and times you will fall behind. You just do what you can. I found the group last time to be very supportive, we often cheered each other on through the hard parts.
How do you comment?
Challenge participants have written some great guidelines and suggestions to get you started.

- Commenting, learning together and the comment challenge
- How to keep track of new comments on other bloggers posts?

There is a comment challenge wiki where you just add your name to the list. Hope to see you there!

Thanks Christine for telling your readers about the Comment Challenge.
The best part is that Michele, you and I learnt a lot from the 31 Day Blogging Project which helps with running this new challenge. Most importantly we know to ensure the tasks aren’t too overwhelming.
